Middle East History 

After the war many things have changed in the East, WWII caused many  changes in there world to this day. Some countries became independent. After the War the Jews were looking for a homeland. The Jews wanted to be in Palestine originally, but in 1948 when the British lost control of the Middle East, the Jews founded the State Of Israel. This angered a lot of people from the Middle East countries. Many countries like Egypt, Lebanon, Iraq, and also even Saudi Arabia tried to reclaim Israel but in the end they were defeated.

But there has been many wars in the Middle East, that has involved us or the United States. The reason why the U.S is interested in the Middle East or protecting them is because the amount of oil located there. About every single country in the Middle East has tried to attack or have made threats against the U.S at sometime. The U.S will never support the Middle East nation after the things that have happened and the terrorist acts that have broke out.

Iraq 

After the Americans, were invovled with Iraq, investigators were searching and found two mobile weapon bases. This caused a problem because the UN stated the Iraq couldnt create any weapons of mass destruction after the war. The first invasion was July 10,2002, known as the horrific 9/11. Th invasion of Iraq, had two goals, one to liberarate Iraq from Saddam Hussein and secondly find and destroy weapons of mass destruction.

In the case of tryinmg to find these weapons of mass destruction, many Americans up too 2,000 died in Operation Iraqi freedom. This is what drove the Americans thought that finding these weapons of mass destruction wasnt worth killling the americans over. But we said we would help in any country with Democracy. so the US had to back up there word.
